Why Level Up?

Becoming a Fire Captain is a significant achievement, but it also comes with the responsibility of leading a team. Many new Captains find themselves overwhelmed by the demands of supervision and leadership, despite their technical prowess. The transition from team member to leader can be daunting, especially without proper training. A lack of leadership skills can lead to poor decision-making, low morale, and ineffective communication. LEVEL UP is designed to bridge this gap, equipping new Captains with the skills and knowledge they need to become effective leaders and inspire their teams to achieve greatness.

The Process

Level Up includes twelve 90-minute sessions of content and coaching. Topics include:

• Starting Strong

• Mastering Emotion

• Navigating Difficult Conversations

• Communicating Clearly

• Managing Performance

• Making Confident Decisions

• Delegating Effectively

• Setting and Accomplishing Goals

• Managing Time

• Building Teamwork and Collaboration

• Navigating Change

• Resolving Conflict

Level Up also includes a before and after Emotional Intelligence assessment to measure progress.

The Cost

Individual Captain

$2500

Groups of Three or More Captains

$1800 each

Additional Coaching

$150 per hourly session

Captains can be from multiple departments

Sessions can be held on site or virtually.
